A record of responsible leadership, strategic management, real
investment in people and steady progress.
We managed the economy with care. Debt is down. Reserves are up
and we have cushioned the population from the worst effects of recent
global shocks. Hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans are working.
Crime is falling. More hospitals and health centres have been built.
More doctors and nurses are serving our people. Roads have been
improved. New highways are connecting more Jamaicans and
bringing opportunity closer to where people live. These are not
promises. These are real results.
When the PNP was in government, Jamaicans faced higher taxes,
rising debt, chronically high interest rates and limited growth — even
while the rest of the world was thriving. We lived the reality of underinvestment in health, education, security, roads and water. We have
been working hard to turn this around.
They have no clear plan, no proven team, and no record of getting
things done.
Putting them back in government would put Jamaica’s future at risk.
It would mean more borrowing, more taxes, less accountability, and
slower progress.
We cannot go back. Jamaica is moving in the right direction. And
we are committed to making it even better by doing even more for
everyone.
The differences between us are real. The improvements in Jamaica are
real.
