● Started a J$100 million Tourism Innovation Incubator to help new tourism
entrepreneurs get their ideas off the ground.
● Trained and certi昀椀ed thousands of tourism workers through the Jamaica
Centre of Tourism Innovation, improving service and professionalism in the
industry.
● Upgraded Boscobel to international airport status, and expanded 昀氀ights
from key markets to bring in more visitors.
● Secured investment to add 20,000 new hotel rooms across the island over
the next 10 years, creating thousands of jobs.
● Improved tourism infrastructure in key destinations like Falmouth, Ocho
Rios, Montego Bay, and the scenic Harmony Park.
● Promoted eco-tourism and community tourism in over 60 local
communities, so more Jamaicans bene昀椀t directly from tourism dollars.
● Expanded the Spruce Up Jamaica programme, making our towns cleaner,
safer, and more attractive for both tourists and locals.
● Positioned Kingston as a Carnival destination, helping generate J$95
billion in economic activity and putting more creatives and service workers
in business.
