Tourism is one of Jamaica’s largest industries, and we have rebuilt
it stronger following the pandemic. But more importantly, we made
sure that more Jamaicans bene昀椀t, not just the big players, but the
workers, small farmers, creatives, and communities that make it all
possible.
Here is what we have done:
● Welcomed over 4.3 million visitors in 2024, showing a strong bounceback after COVID-19.
● Created the Tourism Workers Pension Scheme, so
hotel and tourism workers can retire with dignity.
