● Provided over J$9 billion in loans and grants to small
and medium businesses through the EXIM Bank and DBJ.
● Extended Productive Input Relief to more than 670
manufacturers and small businesses, helping them
lower costs and expand.
● Launched the Jamaica Trade Information Portal
(JTIP) and Jamaica Single Window for Trade (JSWIFT) ,
both designed to make importing and exporting much
simpler and faster.
● Created the Export Jamaica platform to help small
Jamaican businesses break into international markets.
● Updated our intellectual property laws and registered
over 16,000 patents, trademarks, and creative rights,
helping protect Jamaican ideas and inventions.
● Facilitated over US$100 million in business leads
through trade missions and business-to-business
meetings.
● Launched the Export Academy to train Jamaicans in
how to sell to the world.
● Built Digital Transition Centres and trained over 2,700
small businesses in digital skills — helping them sell
online, market smarter, and grow faster.
