EDUCATION
SYSTEM AND
GIVING EVERY
CHILD A FAIR
START
We set out to overhaul the education system from top to bottom
with better schools, better-trained teachers, more technology, and
genuine support for students. Because every child, no matter where
they are from, deserves a fair start and a real chance to succeed.
Here is what we have done so far:
● Spent J$3.8 billion to upgrade and
repair 362 schools across Jamaica,
providing students and teachers
with a safer and better environment
in which to learn and work.
● Pushed national education
